Dr. Kara Silberthau is a highly trained otolaryngology–head and neck surgeon who cares for both adults and children with the full spectrum of ear, nose, and throat conditions. She is known for combining advanced surgical skill with genuine compassion, always focusing on making patients feel comfortable, supported, and well-informed throughout their care. Dr. Silberthau graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also earned her medical degree. She went on to complete a demanding residency in Otorhinolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the world-renowned Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she mastered advanced surgical techniques for both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Silberthau provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including sinus and nasal disorders, sleep apnea, salivary gland and thyroid disease, voice and swallowing problems, pediatric ENT concerns, and ear conditions.
