About Karem Saund
Karem is a certified physician assistant specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University, where she double-majored in Biology and Psychology. She went on to receive her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Karem has extensive experience in clinical dermatology, having worked as a medical assistant in a busy dermatology practice in Washington, DC. She further honed her skills through rigorous dermatology and plastic surgery rotations in medical school and has practiced as a dermatology physician assistant in Warrenton, VA, and Washington, DC.
Karem is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and Diversity in Dermatology.
Karem resides in Arlington with her husband and their Bernedoodle, where she enjoys various hobbies, including playing badminton and soccer, as well as pottery-making and DIY woodworking. She is fluent in Punjabi and was honored as the 1st Runner-Up for Miss India-DC.

I used to go to this location for a different doctor who relocated. I was able to park and find the office easily. My visit was prompt and efficient. I had to get a biopsy so I am waiting to hear the results. Checkout was easy. Since this was my first visit, they gave me a computer tablet to fill out anything that needed signing. It was easy to use. So I will return.
