About Dr. Karen Moore

A native of Durham, NC, Dr. Moore is a third generation medical professional. She is a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her residency along with Dr. Wilson at Emory University. Dr. Moore founded Cumberland Pediatrics and, along with her staff, has nurtured Cumberland Pediatrics into one of the largest pediatric practices in the metro Atlanta area. Dr. Moore is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the pediatric staff at Children's Health Care of Atlanta as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a former board member of the Georgia Counsel on Child Abuse and has been recognized by her peers as one of Atlanta's top pediatricians for the last ten years. Professionally, her greatest joy has been to watch her patients grow up and bring their children to Cumberland Pediatrics. "This is what I have worked for, I never tire of it." She is appreciative to the families in her practice that have given Cumberland Pediatrics the opportunity to be a part of their children's lives.
