About Dr. Karen Vines
Karen Vines, MD is a Family Medicine physician based in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Huntsville from 2013 to 2016, after graduating from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2013.
The primary difference at Vines Concierge Medicine is time. In order to devote more time to each patient’s care and individual needs, Dr. Vines intentionally limits the size of her practice. This allows for more time to diagnose, educate, counsel, and treat. Extended, unrushed visits will enable Dr. Vines to spend meaningful time with patients, build strong relationships, and work collaboratively to provide more comprehensive, proactive care than in traditional practices.
To make this possible, the patient pays an annual fee.
