Kari Flockoi, LMFT, RN, California, is a graduate of John F. Kennedy University, Pleasant Hill, CA, where she earned a Master's degree in Transpersonal Holistic Counseling Psychology in December 2011.
Kari's goal in therapy is to provide a space of unconditional positive regard, enabling you to learn to hold that same space for yourself-one of tolerance, acceptance, and even welcoming whatever arises. She aspires to hold a sacred space for you to be fully heard without judgment. Kari is passionate about awakening to that still, silent space within herself where inner guidance resides and hopes to lead you to your own inward knowing. She draws on modalities that have worked for her throughout her life, including the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, the Enneagram, David Hawkins, MD, and an eclectic blend of non-dual teachings found at the mystical heart of many great religions.
Kari lives with a rescue cat named Love, so named because Love had been locked alone in a small room for years and seemed desperate for attention, affection, and a safe place to be. Kari enjoys long bike rides, camping, a Keto/IF/holistic lifestyle, and following a variety of spiritual teachers. She loves plants, dogs, and psychology. With 27 years of experience as a registered nurse, she also feels passionate about the medical field. Kari is always striving to grow and looks forward to getting to know more about you.
