Getting to know Cary Sanders
It is with much admiration and respect that I engage with clients in their journey to wellness. As a therapist, I have always believed in the strength of the individual to heal. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University and have a depth of knowledge and years of experience understanding how mental health concerns impact individuals. It is part of who you are, but it doesn't need to define you. Seeking help can be difficult when things feel overwhelming, which is why I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and safe environment. I am accepting of wherever you may be in your journey of self-discovery and growth.
I have been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 1998. Before working in private practice, much of my career was dedicated to supporting teens in the foster care system. I have helped individuals who have struggled with trauma (including sexual trauma), self-worth and identity questions, grief, relationship issues, and general adjustment to life’s difficulties.

With professional support and encouragement, you will become able to find your strength and balance in life. You can grow and change and learn to believe in your own abilities and reach your goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
