More about Kari Monk, PA
Kari joined Wimberley Pediatrics in May 2013. She grew up in Plano, TX, and attended Plano East High School. Kari earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2002 and her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech Health Science Center in 2005. After completing her education, she moved to Austin to be near family and worked as a Physician Assistant in a family medicine clinic. Kari is licensed by the Texas State Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
In 2011, she met her husband, Rodney, who convinced her that Wimberley is the only good place to live-she is very glad she listened. She loves exploring all that the Hill Country has to offer. Since moving to Wimberley, Kari enjoys spending time with Rodney, her twins Jackson and Jensen, her stepson Brandon, and their two furry children (a boxer and a bichon frise). She also enjoys spending time with friends, crafting, and listening to live music.
