She attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY and then went on to medical school at State University of NY-Brooklyn. She completed her specialty training in Family Medicine at Columbia Presbyterian College of Physicians and Surgeons (now New York Presbyterian Hospital).
Dr. Ross relocated to Southern Maryland from New York City in 2007. She is married and has a 7 year old son and a 5 year old daughter.
