About Dr. Katherine Li

My goal is to help my patients return to the activities they enjoy in life, free from bother caused by their hip and knee issues. I believe the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership, and together, we can explore both surgical and nonsurgical options to improve their current ailments and help them maximize their quality of life. Katherine Li specializes in hip and knee disorders, with a focus on helping patients achieve their highest quality of life. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction Surgery at Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic. Outside of medicine, Katherine enjoys traveling with her family, running, and dabbling in culinary arts.

Physician Dr. Li clear, kind and delightful
Was my first time meeting Dr. Katharine Li. She seemed very professional, easy to talk to, explained medical items in easily understood terms. Discussed the process of knee replacement in some detail, which was deeply appreciated. Talked about post-surgery rehab and long term thoughts on knee performance. Looking forward to positive outcome from knee replacement in March 2025.
