Hi there, I'm Kathleen! Hi there, I’m Kat! I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and I am passionate about creating access to mental health care inclusive of medications from an evidenced based approach. My approach I believe in providing client centered care with a holistic and individualized approach. I believe in meeting my patients where they are in their mental health care journey. Whether you are new to mental health medications or have been on multiple past medication trials, I will work with you to formulate a plan that you feel comfortable with and that fits into your life. My focus I have extensive experience in women’s health and mental health concerns surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and the unique challenges of the postpartum time period. I am experienced and comfortable treating post traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders inclusive of unipolar depression and bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. My communication style I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for patients. I feel strongly that rapport is built upon trust and compassion. I believe that care should be collaborative between the patient and provider to support a feeling of empowerment in your mental health journey.
