Hi there, I'm Richard! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, working with clients in Ohio via telehealth. I mainly work with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and both current and past traumatic events. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Methodist Theological School in Ohio. My approach I walk with my clients to establish a healthy therapeutic relationship for positive outcomes and improved lives. I use Cognitive, Narrative, and Attachment-based therapy, incorporating Trauma-focused therapy, DBT, and EMDR. My focus I work with adolescents, adults, and first responders. With a military background and 14 years as a firefighter and paramedic, I often treat anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, including couples and relational concerns. My communication style I practice acute listening and understanding, providing a non-judgmental, problem-focused environment. Working with me means experiencing an atmosphere free of intimidation and full of understanding. My journey to mental healthcare Since high school, I’ve had a strong urge to help people—volunteering with the fire department and assisting seniors. After 4 years in the Air Force, I became a full-time firefighter for 14 years before returning to grad school for my clinical therapy degree. I have 13 years of experience in mental health and addictions.
