Getting to know Katlyn Greathouse
Katlyn Greathouse, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who utilizes an individualized, evidence-based approach to helping those with mental health needs. She incorporates her background in both critical care and psychiatry to provide a holistic approach in her treatment plans. Katlyn earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN, where she also completed specialized training in Adult Psychiatry. She is board certified in psychiatry through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. While most of her experience has been with adults, she has also worked with pediatric, geriatric, and serious mental illness (SMI) populations, enabling her to treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Recently, Katlyn and her family relocated to Arizona to begin practicing. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, playing with her three animals, and catching up on Netflix shows.

My appointment with Katlyn went great. She was on time, and she took the time to really listen to me and answer all of my questions. Katlyn is always concise, yet thorough with my visits. She actively listens to my experiences and addresses my questions/concerns, without ever making me feel dismissed. It had been difficult to find a provider that still cares about bedside manner before seeing Katlyn so, I really appreciate that she is patient with me. I really appreciate being seen by a provider that made me feel comfortable to seek the help that I need without judgement. She was very patient and thorough with her explanations and options for me. The interaction was efficient and professional. I brought moral support due to previous experiences where I had trouble advocating for myself, but I was reassured to know that she had my best interests at heart. Thank you for taking the time to really listen to my experiences and thoughts, rather than jumping to conclusions and pushing me out the door.

I cannot recommend Katlyn Greathouse enough. The office was clean, organized, and had such a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The staff was incredibly kind and communicative, making scheduling and follow-ups seamless.
Katlyn Greathouse truly stood out as a provider. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explain my diagnosis and treatment options in a way that made sense, and—most importantly—never dismissed my feelings or symptoms. For the first time, I felt truly heard and understood regarding my anxiety, which has been such a relief. If you're looking for compassionate and knowledgeable care, this is the place to go!
