About Kayla Roehling
Kayla, a native of Denver, feels so lucky to be a physician assistant provider at Highlands Health for Life. She is excited to serve this community. She earned her bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver and completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. Before going back to Physician Assistant school, she worked several years as an athletic trainer in the Denver Public School system. Kayla has spent a lot of time abroad and will jump on a plane any chance she gets. While she is not working, Kayla really enjoys being outside. She is very active, whether it be paddle boarding, bike riding, or hiking in the summer, or snowboarding or snowshoeing in the winter. Otherwise, she likes spending time with her husband, their mutt of a dog, Wheelie, and her extended family.

My only complaint is the office reached out to me MULTIPLE times post zocdoc booking pre-appointment to ask for information I had already provided via zocdoc, so their integration with zocdoc still needs some work.

As a new patient, I felt comfortable and welcomed. Clean and nice environment, and I barely waited at all. I was able to switch my appt type last minute, and my issues and questions were directly addressed.

I was very nervous about getting some of my vitals checked out, and really was hoping for a smooth experience. Kayla Roehling was very kind and provided the exact kind of experience I was looking for. My time in the office with everyone else was also very pleasant. Dr. Roehling is one of the best doctors I've had. For someone who struggles greatly with going to doctors, Dr. Roehling made me feel calm and taken care of. My insurance changed due to a change in companies, but Dr. Roehling made sure I was taken care of. She is truly a doctor that cares about her patients instead of being just a number. She is an amazing listener and works hard to get to the bottom of any issue that may arise. She answered any questions I had and calmed a lot of my nerves. Dr. Roehling is not the only great person at this practice. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and understanding and made me feel like they would do anything to help me. If my insurance ever changes, I will most definitely be back. Dr. Roehling, thank you so much for your kindness.

Calm area of town. Smaller practice but well equipped. The staff was kind and attentive. My provider (Kayla) was very informative. A good listener and she remember tending to my wife which is something that the practice suggests to offer more complete care.

Today was my first visit to see Kayla, and I was impressed with the entire experience. From the front desk staff, Melissa and her colleague were wonderful and made the check-in process fast and easy. Ana checked my vitals in my exam room, and then Kayla came into the exam room. She was very thorough with my health history and was incredibly easy to talk with and joke with to ease my anxiousness. She was so great at explaining everything and what I may need to follow-up on. I'll definitely be coming back to see Kayla as my regular healthcare provider! Monique is the phlebotomist who took my bloodwork, and she was one of the best sticks I've ever had - I hardly felt it. All around, this is a top-notch practice who really cares about their patients. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Dr.Kayla was great! I was nervous and tense about seeing a new provider and she defused my nerves as soon as she walked in the room. She was kind, present, approachable and easy to talk to.
