Psychiatry – Accepting New Patients for medication management. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with many years of experience in family practice and psychiatry. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Aspen University, a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana, a Post-Master's Certificate in Family Nursing from Maryville University, and a Master’s in Adult Geriatric Nursing from Walden University. I am a compassionate medical provider who values evidence-based care of the whole person. I incorporate multiple treatment modalities in addition to medication management, such as therapy, nutrition optimization, and health coaching. My diverse clinical background allows me to take a more holistic approach and understand that each individual’s needs are different. Everyone is unique, and I believe in a mental healthcare approach that views you as a whole person.

I did not feel listened to or thoroughly assessed at all. The provider barely let me list all of my symptoms and went in to off topic conversation numerous times throughout the appointment. Overall, I did not feel taken seriously. I was then nonchalantly prescribed a psychiatric medication at the end our appointment. I find this unsafe and totally inappropriate. People’s mental health is not something to take lightly. I would not recommend.
