I'm not completely sure, I have to wait for an exray from another place. Then I will know if the doctor was correct.

Dr. Johnson was through and listened carefully. However, the wait time to see him was always an hour or more!

It felt like he rushed a diagnosis without a comprehensive exam or imaging. I wound up getting a second opinion with imaging and an entirely different diagnosis, which enhances my treatment options for a no-fault case.

I had my first initial visit to Dr. Johnson office yesterday and although I felt the overall visit was professional and Dr. Johnson was extremely explicit about explaining my condition and future treatments, I left the office feeling a little disturbed.
Please allow me to explain. First, I felt rushed and hurried from our initial meeting to my departure. This behavior could have been because Dr. Johnson speaks quickly and continuous. Upon my entrance into his office, he immediately began inquiring about my reason for the visit and the length of time suffering with the condition. He neglected to introduce himself and never once took the time to address me by name. Okay, call me “old-fashion”, but I believe your initial visit to a physician’s office should include a friendly introduction/greeting. Isn’t that “Bedside Protocol 101”?
Secondly, his constant chatter and negligence to ask me if I had any questions was dissatisfying. He monopolized the entire office visit by explaining in great detail about my condition, possible injection and/or imaging treatment and required therapy for healing. While I appreciated his meticulousness and willingness regarding my treatment, I would have been much more satisfied with a dialogue. I was able to interject two questions between his breathing pauses.
All in all, his upbeat friendly demeanor and knowledge eased my anxiety, and for that I am grateful. However, developing personal relationships with your patience is what keeps them coming back and recommending friends and family members to your practice.

So far, so good! It was only a consultation but Dr. Johnson seemed extremely knowledgeable and familiar with my possible condition. He was also very patient and answered several questions I had with no sense of annoyance. It was a pleasant visit and the office staff were also very nice. Someone came out to check on me while I was waiting to be seen and keep me updated on when I would be called in.

Dr. Johnson was enthusiastic and found good ways to explain the issue with my wrist. Even the support staff is friendly. I had an appointment late in the evening and I feared I would be rushed out of the office but that wasn't the case at all. I wish all my visits with doctors could be like this!

Dr. Johnson and the team at his Chelsea office are a lot of fun. Am I allowed to say that about a doctor's office? They called me to reschedule my appointment due to weather. Though the staff never rescheduled my appointment on ZocDoc, I made it in at the new time and I'm so glad I did. I would describe everyone in there as charming and delightful to watch. They're just in general really nice people to be around. I had some knee problems I wanted to discuss with Dr. Johnson and he was so thorough in his explanations. He let me share what my troubles were instead of just throwing diagnoses at me. He also uses some great analogies to make the medical jargon as simple as possible to understand. He didn't push pills on me. He just made it a natural conversation about the pain I've been experiencing for so long and what I could actually do about it. He even resigned himself to the fact that he may never see me again if everything goes according to plan. That makes me kind of sad. Some other great parts of the office: The practice administrator is like mama bear to everyone. I felt like I was at home and instantly at ease in the office with her. The front desk was staffed by Jose and he diligently plugs away at his tasks, answering the phone, verifying benefits and making copies and shredding documents. It's moving like a machine in there. The wait is worth it because you feel so welcome. They'll have your benefits verified before you get in and your paperwork ready for you when you arrive. Awesome, unique medical experience!

I thought this Doctor was excellent. I feel he diagnosed what was wrong, and I was glad to know what was going on! He is above and beyond nice,in my opinion. I am glad I found him, I wish I found him last year when I had a foot break!
