Dr. Sklar is the most personable, caring doctor I've had. He truly cares about the welfare and recovery of his patients. My visits to the office are always pleasant, despite my major foot surgery. His staff consistently provides care and support.

What makes me UNIQUE? I don’t compromise beauty to correct the function of your feet. My surgical procedures allow for less pain, a quicker recovery and results that you want to see.
I also apply what I learn. Having been in practice for 30 years, I have treated over 60,000 patients and performed more than 9,000 surgical procedures. With all this experience, my procedures are continually modified; thus evolving into sound, minimally invasive surgical procedures.
By studying and working hard, I became board certified by two distinct boards. I continue to maintain these certifications through retesting. I am board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. I am also a Fellow of The American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine and a Fellow of The American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
When not treating patients, I have a great wife who I love spending time with. Married for 30 years, we have three wonderful daughters. One daughter is a Podiatrist, one daughter is a nurse and my other daughter is currently in nursing school. I also like working out to P90x, playing basketball, running and rock climbing. Did I mention I also have a cool dog – a Tibetan Terrier – named Reggie.

I had a much better experience with his daughter. Dr. Sklar had a judgemental scolding tone when I came in and he looked at my feet. I already felt uncomfortable and embarrassed so his tsk tsk attitude and unclear answers as to what I should do next just made me feel worse. The next time I saw his daughter and had a much better experience. This Dr. Sklar was very relatable and made me feel very relaxed and not judged for having warts on my feet. I would recommend the female Dr. Sklar.

Quack quack quack. Pushes surgery on you from the GET GO! Then proceeds to ask little to no questions about your feet. Clearly concerned with keeping people feet pretty and not functional. Injected my bunions with cortisone before giving further less invasive options, other than surgery of course. I'm a runner and I work on my feet all day. I'm 28 and don't wanna do surgery at this stage in my life! Won't be going back, not even for the follow up.

Over all the entire experience has been positive. Dr. Sklar was very thorough when explaining the procedure and made me feel comfortable. The staff is also quite helpful & friendly. I am happy that I found this doctor and I am finally pain free!
