Kelly Donahue has an incredible bedside manner and is dedicated to helping you feel better. I visited her with a sprained ankle last summer and she helped me get back on my feet. She was kind, courteous, answered all my questions and did a thorough examination. Then when I re-sprained my ankle a few months later she promptly ordered an MRI to check for any serious damage. She is an amazing healthcare provider and you are in the best hands with her.

Kelly is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a Certificate of Advanced Qualifications (CAQ) in Orthopedic Surgery. She completed her graduate work at George Washington University’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She has undergone extensive training in the examination, diagnosis, interpretation of imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT), and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. These include sports injuries, fractures, back and neck pain, osteoarthritis, overuse conditions, and acute sprains/strains.
Prior to becoming a PA, Kelly graduated cum laude from Duquesne University with a bachelors of science in athletic training. She then attended the University of Miami and graduated with a Masters in sports medicine with concentration in exercise physiology. She is a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association. She worked 5 years at the University of Miami, where she was responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of acute and chronic sports injuries as well as on-field emergency care and post-surgical management. In addition, she worked as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Instructor in Miami's undergraduate Athletic Training Education Program. After leaving Miami, she spent two years working as an Athletic Trainer and Adjunct Professor at Division III Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her certifications in athletic training and Physician Assistant, Kelly is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She is also a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Kelly has always given me sound advice and been a reliable source of information and solutions for nearly two years. She's always brought empathy into the room along with the medical advice and never talks down to me or tries to move things along just to get to the next chart in her stack. And her openness to do telemedicine has been a great asset during the pandemic when I've needed guidance on issues I've had. Can't recommend her enough.

This practice is very together and professional. Kelly is always running on time with her appts. Additionally, she is incredibly responsive on messaging, rx refills, and any concern you might have. She also is great at communicating for different knowledge levels. Which I appreciate very much. She’s been great to work with for my ongoing knee issues.

I first saw Kelly in 2017 when I tore my ACL. I was a college student in the area and needed to see a specialist right away, and Kelly was fantastic. She helped me get an MRI quickly and advised me on surgery, which I had back home a few months later. I have seen her for a myriad of other orthopedic issues since and she is always on time, extremely attentive to any needs/requests, and replies to emails very quickly! Kelly is an awesome provider all around.

I have been seeing Kelly for almost a year now for some tricky, complicated, and stressful injuries to my back and hip area. Despite the pandemic, she has been extremely accessible and has always made time to see me very quickly, often with short notice. Her bedside manner is impeccable, she is compassionate and truly cares about her patients, not just about the specific issue/injury being addressed, but about their overall health and well-being. I would highly recommend her.
