“Dr. John was fantastic! I had a mole on my back I was concerned about and she assessed it and gave my her professional opinion and although it wasn’t medically necessary to remove it, I wanted to because it was in an aggravating spot that gets irritated at times. She was agreeable to remove it and did it right then and there! I was in and out of the office in <30 minutes. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from her and her team. Thank you!”

About Kelly John
Kelly John is a board-certified dermatology physician assistant specializing in skin cancer detection, acne, eczema, psoriasis, cosmetic enhancement and the treatment of a broad range of dermatologic conditions. She is committed to offering every patient the highest standard of care in dermatology; bringing over 18 years of dermatology experience. Kelly has a caring and compassionate approach to healthcare, and her patients love her for it. Her goal is for her patients to not only understand their diagnosis, but more importantly, to leave feeling confident they received the best care. Patients immediately connect with Kelly and appreciate her highly personalized treatment plans.
Kelly completed her PA schooling and training at East Carolina University and prior to becoming a PA-C, she was a Registered Dietician. She is certified with the National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the NC Medical Board. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, biking and yoga.

I have a cyst on my upper thigh and I had it for about a week now she came in and she was very nice and she listened to what I had to say initially, I asked you what the problem is, but she just wanted to prescribe me an antibiotic for the inflammation go away on its own, when I told her I prefer to have this cut out of me because I don’t want this and she wouldn’t listen. She wants me on this antibiotic for two weeks and then reschedule her if it doesn’t go away so it was literally 10 minutes, and a waste of money

Great experience. PA Kelly John was very friendly and professional. She was thorough with my skin cancer screening and gentle with the biopsy. She listened to all my concerns and answered my questions. I highly recommend her and have already scheduled my next screening with her.
