More about Dr. Kenice Broughman, DC
Dr. Broughman developed a passion for wholistic health and clinical nutrition when she was first introduced to functional medicine in 1989, after graduating from National University of Health Sciences in 1986. She practiced in integrative clinics until 2005, when she joined the faculty at Palmer Chiropractic College in Port Orange, Florida. She served as a clinic faculty mentor for many years, during which she published, presented at numerous professional conferences, and taught clinical nutrition classes. She earned her Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition in 2006 and a Doctorate in Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. She also attained the rank of Professor while working in the clinic. In 2018, she began teaching full time in the classroom, focusing on geriatrics, wellness, special populations, and rehabilitation. She left Palmer in 2023 with the goal of practicing functional medicine. One of her greatest honors was being awarded Professor Emeritus from Palmer Chiropractic. Her goal is to help patients get to the root of their health challenges and attain their highest and best health through natural and wholistic methods.
She lives in Daytona Beach, Florida, with her husband, two dogs, and a kitty. In her spare time, she is a writer and poet who enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, photography, and exploring new places. She is excited to be part of the Aligned Medical Team, where they are changing the health of the world one patient at a time.
