The other zocdoc reviewers we're pretty accurate. I'm not going to air my grievances, everyone else completely nailed it in terms of atmosphere, attitude, service, wait time. Not going back. Taking the blood work elsewhere. Take a chance, maybe you'll have a great experience. Pffffft

HORRIBLE! I wanted a second opinion from someone closer to home on Long Island as opposed to Manhattan where i normally see REAL doctors. I gave it a chance and patiently waited 2.5 hours! Which is unheard of! Mr Hershon, (irefuse to call him Doctor), goes on to tell me everything I was told before, which is fine. But then he proceeds to draw blood and at the exact secon he placed the needle in my arm, i felt a cramp run down my arm, which I told him immediately but he had no response. I did not make anything of it as i figured it would go away. This is 6 days later and I am still feeling pain down my arm, a pinched nerve, which he hit when drawing blood. And the pain worsens as each day goes by. I have been to doctors all my life with regular checkups, had my blood drawn throughout an entire pregnancy and this has never happened. But this so called doctor hit a nerve in my arm when drawing my blood. I have a one year old, who now I can hardly lift without feeling pain in my arm. I can hardly sleep properly without feeling pain down my arm. All he said to me is "use the other arm" "it will take a while to go away". He claims to be head of whatever it is he claims, but he should learn how to properly draw blood and properly address the situation wheb and if it happens. Ridiculous and unprofessional! Clearly I will NEVER ever go there again or recommend anyone to go there. That place is a disaster!

The wait was really long but it was worth it. He was through and listened. Takes his time with his patients which is why the wait is probably so long.
