About Keri Church
Keri Church, PA-C received her BA in Psychology at Georgetown University and completed both a Masters in Management at Wake Forest University School of Business along with her Physician Assistant degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Keri had already come in with years of clinical experience as a medical assistant in a busy dermatology practice in Washington, DC. She was DCLs “#1 draft choice” with a unique, multidisciplinary educational and clinical background coming out of PA school. She has received further specialized training during her internship with our dermatologists at DCL over the past year and has made our clinical team even stronger.
When asked about her position at DCL, Keri answered: “I love the family atmosphere, both with the doctors and staff along with our patients. Since joining the practice, everyone here has been greatly supportive and has collaborated to help me continue to grow intellectually and clinically.” Outside of the practice, Keri enjoys yoga and spending time with her family.

The clinic had a very positive and clean vibe to it, and I felt cared for by all the staff members. My PA knew exactly what my issue was and explained things to me clearly to ensure I fully understood what was happening. The medical assistant and the front desk staff were super helpful.

The derm didn’t really listen to my issues. Seems like she wanted to get out of there. Immediately offered antibiotics and didn’t even ask my skin type. I was seen for less than 10 minutes and it cost me a lot out of pocket. I have very sensitive skin and I know that a topical treatment won’t help my deep broken capillaries and blackheads. She didn’t even listen to me talk about that. Waste of time.

The office was clean and and the front desk seemed organized. I was satisfied with the overall diagnosis and prescription . I saw Keri Church and I felt like she couldn’t get us out of the office fast enough. I do expect a new patient appointment to take more than six minutes. I also expect to leave the office and have my prescription either given to me or sent to my pharmacy. I now need to contact the office again to request my prescription be sent to my pharmacy again.

KERI IS AMAZING!! I love her so much. I always come in with every question and concern in the world and she patiently listens to me and helps me while answering every one. She is honest and soothing and makes you feel safe and your concerns acknowledged. My family has seen Keri before and I’ve only ever heard praise about amazing things. She’s gentle and really cares about you. All prescriptions are sent over right away and makes sure you book follow up appointments to check that everything is going perfect. She comes in quickly and really takes the time to work well with you. Never a disappointment with Keri.

Dr. Church is amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and a great listener. When it comes to appointments they are quick but purposeful. She will always advise the best bang for your buck, and never prescribe you something you don’t need. If something is costly, she will recommend solutions on how to achieve that product in a more cost-effective manner, or a great alternative product.

Everything was perfect and I felt heard and like there was a plan in place for why I came in. There was an issue at the pharmacy that I went to afterwards (which had nothing to do with the office) and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I got the prescription at another pharmacy immediately. I am so grateful for going in to be seen today.

My nurse was Marisa. She was very sweet and went over all of my concerns and information before Keri came in to the room. Keri was very sweet and very knowledgeable and reassuring that the spots she looked at were to be concerned about. She explained the treatment options to me and gave me the choice of how to proceed. I will definitely be seeing her for any other issues I have in the future.
