My appointment was for a regular check-up and for contact lens fitting. It was perfect. I was seen right away, everyone was very nice, and there was no waste of time at all. The doctor answered all of my questions without feeling rushed. Also, which I liked very much, I was not pushed to try to purchase glasses. I hate it when they do that, and this is the first time in many years that I go to an eye appointment without feeling like I'm forced to take a look at their eyeglass collection before I can leave. It was a great appointment.

Dr. Kevin Harrison was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Chemistry from Texas Christian University and completed his optometric training at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
While in school, Dr. Harrison completed an ocular pathology rotation at Texas Eye Care in Austin, Texas and a rotation in low vision and family eye care at the Colorado Optometric Center in Denver, Colorado. He is licensed therapeutically and as an optometric glaucoma specialist.
Dr. Harrison and his wife Amy reside in Katy with daughters Avery and Ella.

Dr. Harrison was professional, quick with his exam, and answered my follow up questions to my satisfaction. He is a friendly person but not one for chit chat, so don't expect a drawn out visit.
He got my prescription spot on, and I did not have to have the glasses redone.

Kevin was fine. However it was my first time getting glasses so I didn't know what to look for or anything. His staff didn't educate me enough on my number or size or anything. I was just told pick out what I liked. Well never having glasses Before so I didn't like anything. I also wasn't told that I could have bought a pair of reading glasses from the pharmacy for $10 instead getting a pair for $150 from them. I would like to have spent that money buying a better pair of other glasses instead!

Dr. Harrison was great. The initial visit was very quick, but I only needed a prescription update. The office is very informed with your insurance benefits and they will let you know upfront what your insurance allows and what fees you can expect with different tests or glasses. All in all, a positive experience at a great office.
