About Dr. Anusha Rachel Mathew

Anusha Rachel Mathew, O.D., is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Mathew became interested in optometry due to the versatility of the profession and its many specialties, particularly ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. She practices full-scope optometry, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the treatment and management of dry eye, eye injuries, eye infections, and corneal and retinal conditions. Dr. Mathew also offers LASIK consultations and co-management of cataracts. She is fluent in English and Malayalam and can provide eye examinations in Spanish. Dr. Mathew is committed to serving her patients with the utmost care for their vision and ocular health, ensuring all their needs and concerns are addressed. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and exploring the delicious food Houston has to offer.
