My first appointment was for extreme lower back pain and after a quick examination, Dr. Lee requested that I get an MRI. At my second appointment with him, he reviewed the results and quickly ran through the possible options, not all of which I understood. It was not clear what would happen next. Would I be referred to a surgeon or would Dr. Lee continue as my doctor. I asked for a lumbar injection at this time as an interim option before deciding on surgical options and that has thankfully been scheduled. Mendelson does not do after visit summaries for patient visits, which I wish they would do. Nor do they have a patient portal or any way to contact your doctor. Zocdoc is NOT a patient portal other than for scheduling. So I am a bit confused as to next steps. I was encouraged, however, to schedule another visit. Support staff, however, (Kim and Sharon, in particular) have been wonderful.
