Dr. Lewis attended the University of North Texas where he graduated cum laude with a major in biology/minor in chemistry and received his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Dr. Lewis completed his residency in December of 2010 at UT Southwestern Family Medicine Residency Program at Seton Family of Hospitals in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Lewis is licensed by the State of Texas and has been practicing in Family Medicine and Urgent Care since spring of 2009. Along with having a private practice in Southwest Austin/Dripping Springs, Dr. Lewis is the Medical Director for South Austin Pregnancy Resource Center and is certified in Office Based Opioid Addiction Treatment and serves as the Medical Director for the Maintenance and Recovery Services in Cedar Park. In addition, he is a licensed Ringside Physician with Texas Combative Sports and often volunteers for local sporting events.
As a secondary focus, Dr. Lewis enjoys providing medical care revolving around men’s health issues.
Dr. Lewis travels to Peru annually and leads a medical missions team in the Amazon region. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
