About Michelle Caneda
Michelle Caneda is a nurse practitioner whose love for medicine started when she was young. She earned her Master's in Family Nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington. Dr. Caneda was extremely dismissively & would not allow me to talk. She was in & out of the appointment, even though I had concerns, questions, & was trying to elaborate & explain. When I was asking for a doctors note + written diagnosis she did not acknowledge me & walked out of the room, to return with a doctors note, but no separate paper with my diagnosis. When I asked for a diagnosis again to give to my school to have on file (in case of any medical emergencies) she gave me an extremely hard time & stated the school should have a specific accommodation paper she needs to fill out, which is not what I was asking for. It may have been a miscommunication, however if she had taken the time to listen to me rather than dismiss me & walk out, I feel it could have been avoidable.

This office didn’t really prescribe much too help. Prescriptions are done through a 3rd party site. They very much try to sale you on things not needed, especially IV therapy.

You can tell she did not care at all on what I had to say. She diminished my symptoms. She was very cold and she just didn’t have the heart for it. I saw her 5 minutes after I left interact with another patient and she was all happy and bubbly. In my opinion you should act like that with all your patients. You can’t be cold and uncaring with one and happy with the other. She just gave me a simple med to treat something that is a lot more severe that I had told her was not going to help but she didn’t listen.

Bed side manner was awful. Up selling for 5 other specialtys is unprofessional. Not explaining my medicine dosage, but passing that on to the pharmacist is unprofessional. Assumed that I have 3 other illnesses without blood work. Whole appointment was uncomfortable.

Only reason i rated 1 star was because here on zocdoc it said that she was a obgyn and she is not, she only does primary care. Other than that she was great and was able to refer me to a obgyn and also did my yearly anual physical since i was already there. She was very helpful and answered all my questions.

The office didn't contact me prior to my appointment about having a recorded PCP on file. I had to call my insurance to have that added in office. They had a 5-minite late policy. By the time I checked in and was told this needed to be done, I only had a few minutes to make the call. Despite the lack of notification, the person checking me in said if it took longer than 5 past my appointment time, I would have to reschedule my entire appointment. I made it with no time to spare, but they should've notified thatbi would've needed that earlier, even when it was booked and confirmed. Luckily I didn't have to reschedule, but it would have been a huge inconvenience when it wasn't my fault I wasn't made aware that needed to be done.

I enjoyed my visit today, the nurse, and doctor both have a great bedside manner. I did not feel rushed, and they both communicated well. They were both thorough in their questioning, and I was able to quickly e-mail documents to the nutse, as well as call the pharmacy to verify prescriptions, and former prescribing doctors. I was also given options on how I wanted to handle my care, and was listened too. Great doctor, and staf

Absolutely do not book with this clinic. As a doctor myself, this clinic will not post your protected health information (lab values) without an ordeal. The level of care is subpar, and they will have their medical assistant send you medical advice without informing you of your assessment or diagnosis. This is like being told to take chemo by a medical assistant without knowing you have cancer. Unfortunately I will be filing a malpractice suit as this clinic failed to provide the standards of care to the patient. I sincerely hope you avoid this clinic and the providers here.

Great office! My medical assistant was super welcoming, the nurse practitioner listened to my concerns and was very thorough. Even the phlebotomist impressed me. Almost 0 wait time too. Highly recommend this office, and I usually really don’t like going to the doctor.
