“Dr. O’Malley is an expert orthopedic surgeon and a true professional! I had a thumb UCL injury resulted in surgery with Dr. O’Malley. From the start, he made me feel at ease with his friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable approach. He thoroughly evaluated my injury and made sure we explored non-surgical options before proceeding with surgery. The surgery was successful and the care I received was exceptional, and the staff was equally supportive and kind throughout. It’s rare to find a provider who takes the time to listen and truly cares about your recovery. I’m very grateful for the experience!”

Dr. O’Malley provided outstanding service each time I have visited for an appointment. The staff took me within a very short time frame and Dr. O’Malley appeared in no time! They are very respectful of your time. Dr. O’Malley also has a very good bedside manner, explaining everything up front. I highly recommend him!
Verified patient
First, and most important to me, Dr. O'Malley is a superb doctor, an expert in his field, hand and finger issues. He was quick to diagnose my problem and to recommend an approach that, at least initially, would avoid surgery and focus on PT. He explained clearly the nature of my injury and the course of treatment in his office. He had staff on hand to perform x-rays and make a bandage for my finger. I was in and out in less than an hour. Highly recommend!
Verified patient
I was glad the office called me to get prior authorization from the Dept of Labor, as this was a workers comp claim for my pain on my left wrist. The nurse/admin staff staff had called and asked for my Dept of Labor information so that I could be seen for the appointment I booked.
Verified patient
Dr. O'Malley honed in on the problem with my wrist and immediately suggested a course of action. The cortisone shot was worth it! My wrist is already working better.
Verified patient
Dr. O'Malley and the nursing staff were friendly but the WHC office is very large and crowded. The check-in process is impersonal using kiosks and requiring patients to stand and answer 10 minutes worth of questions and also scan in their own insurance card. They were very quick to X-ray my hand even before the doctor looked at my issue which is one way to increase billing. If the doctor had seen me first, he would have diagnosed my issue with no need for an X-ray. In the end, they did not use the insurance information I gave at the kiosk but instead billed my old insurance. The full bill ended up being extremely high a simple arthritis case. I am left with a bad overall impression, and I still have one of the lumps I wanted removed.
Verified patient
I do not have a good experience when I visit WHC however if there are more Dr. Gerald Harris's, Dr. Morris and now Dr. O'Malley they would be great. The way these Doctors treat their patients is top tier.
Verified patient
Dr. O’Malley is highly competent and a good communicator. He followed up with a phone call after my surgery and set up an additional appointment to accommodate my questions.

Excellent patient care.
Verified patient
Dr O’Malley is attentive, expert, and efficient. Very easy to talk to and made a plan there and then for when to fix my finger.
Great doctor, good staff. The office—MedStar practice?—booked 2 appointments with same doc at exact same time. Some staff knew the doc was behind by 30-35 minutes but did not inform the waiting patients. I appreciate that the doc was providing extra care, but let people know of delays!

He was very respectful of his patients' time, honoring appointment times. Evaluation and next steps were clearly explained. Dr. O'Malley was very personable and easy to talk to, not dismissive at all. Glad to have made this choice for treatment. Jacqueline S.
