There was no discomfort and no mess (as with just irrigation). Hearing improved immediately. Both nostrils were examined with camera to the sinuses, all good. Always see Dr. Taheri when wax build up is known or suspected.”

About Dr. Kevin Taheri
Dr. Kevin Taheri is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) dedicated to providing expert, patient-centered care for a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions. Known for his compassionate approach and commitment to excellence, Dr. Taheri specializes in sinus disorders, allergy management and pediatric ENT care.
Dr. Taheri earned his undergraduate degree with university honors from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a graduate degree in pharmacology from Tulane University. He went on to complete his medical training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where he conducted research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He then completed his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, gaining extensive experience in sinus surgery, allergy treatments and pediatric ENT care.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Taheri has presented at both local and national conferences. His work includes groundbreaking research on methicillin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA) in pediatric neck infections, as well as innovations in minimally invasive balloon procedures for tear duct obstructions. He was also awarded by the Triological Society for developing a novel technique for non-surgical eardrum perforation repair.
Dr. Taheri is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He stays at the forefront of ENT advancements, ensuring his patients receive the most effective and up-to-date treatments available.

Dr. Taheri and the staff were wonderful. We had some issues with Zocdoc, though. It contacted me repeatedly by text message asking me to complete my registration with photos of my insurance cards even though the office staff had done that on my first visit. It kept sending reminders of my office visit by text and email over and over!

Best experience visiting a doctor that I’ve had in a very long time. Dr. Taheri was very professional and efficient. Usually on first visits, I get nothing taken care of, but a talk. This visit was definitely worth my time. I had my ear wax removed, had a special diagnostic procedure done, and had a hearing text with what appeared to be the latest technology. I highly recommend Dr. Taheri.

Dr Taheri was incredibly kind and welcoming! Very open to what I had to say and took all of my concerns seriously. It is a shame they have to refer out for Hearing tests. I wasn’t made aware of that beforehand so it felt like a waste of a copay considering he couldn’t properly assess me without the hearing test being done first. That being said, he did great with what he was able to provide. I would just suggest you get a hearing test done beforehand if your hearing has been affected.

I went in for sinus issues and got immediate results since there is a CT scanner in the office. It was great and a relief not having to schedule that then return to the office for results. It was a really nice office too and the staff were all friendly.
