First, he was available when most other orthopedists' offices wee closed - a deciding factor in my choice. Diagnosis and treatment are ongoing, but first impression was completely positive. He seems extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but also with great "common sense". No rush to do expensive procedures unless/until they prove necessary.

Dr. Vesey joined the practice in 1985. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he attended Stuyvesant High School, CUNY Brooklyn College and SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
He completed his general surgery residency at North Shore University Hospital and his orthopedic surgery residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. He has served as President of the Medical Staff at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center (formally St. John’s Hospital).
He is a past President of the Eastern Long Island Chapter of American College of Surgeons. Dr. Vesey specializes in trauma and reconstructive surgery.
