About Dr. Khaled Zeitoun
Khaled Zeitoun, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) specialist. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Zeitoun is one of the few Reproductive Endocrinologists with expertise in major gynecologic and infertility surgery. Using minimally invasive techniques, he specializes in surgical procedures that increase the likelihood of pregnancy, including fibroid removal, operative hysteroscopy, tubal surgery, tubal reversal, correction of congenital anomalies, and procedures for endometriosis.
Dr. Zeitoun has provided traditional infertility services such as IUI, IVF, donor IVF procedures, treatments for male factor infertility, surrogacy, and ovarian rejuvenation with excellent results. He was extensively trained in managing various endocrinological problems, including hyperprolactinemia, early menopause, and PCOS.
He has extensive experience working with a diverse patient population from different ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds and needs.
Dr. Zeitoun graduated from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harlem Hospital Center/Columbia University and New York Medical College. He then completed fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he received multiple grants to conduct advanced research in the treatment of endometriosis and infertility.
Since 2002, Dr. Zeitoun has been in private practice in New York and is an attending physician at New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Over the last 20 years, he has served as a reproductive endocrinology and infertility director at Jamaica Hospital, Lower Manhattan Hospital, Harlem Hospital, and Lutheran Hospital Center.

Absolutely the worst I have experienced . He didn’t listen to me. Yelled at me and then when I pointed out his behavior he apologized without looking me in the eye. Unfortunately I still let him examine me and he was very rough. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worse enemy. He came highly recommended but the man I saw was extremely unprofessional.

I was referred to Dr. Zeitoun by my ob/gyn for a pelvic ultrasound and procedure. I am in general very anxious about about my yearly ob/gyn visits so anything out of the ordinary freaks me out. When I learned I needed to have a minor surgery, I was really upset and did not want to have it. However, Dr. Zeitoun put my mind at ease and made me comfortable under the circumstances. The surgery went smoothly and I felt well taken care of.

Dr Zeitoun is amazing! I went in with a huge simple cyst and he gave me the right recommendation right away. I had surgery with him and everything was great. He makes you feel safe and comfortable. Wait is definitely longer than ideal but worth the wait.

Polite doctor, gave honest recommendation and had good bedside manner. The only thing I was not pleased about was the wait time. I changed my original appointment from 6:45pm to 4:30pm and was not seen until 5:30pm. I was told this was because I was a new patient, that being said it would've been nice if I was not made to wait for an hour. There is also a copay needed in cash that I did not know about until right before I was seen at 5:30pm, would've sincerely appreciated the heads up.
