Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
2303 N Broad St, Colmar, PA
Taking the first step toward getting help with your mental health can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make that process feel comfortable, collaborative, and judgment-free. I’m Kimberlie Taylor, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and the founder of Tranquil & Serene Integrative Care. I have more than 10 years of experience working in mental health and addictions, and I provide individualized psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief supportive, solution-focused therapy. I believe effective psychiatric care goes beyond simply treating a diagnosis. I take time to understand you as a whole person—your symptoms, experiences, goals, lifestyle, and overall well-being—and work with you to develop a treatment plan that feels right for you. My clinical interests include women’s mental health, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, perinatal and postpartum mental health, and other mental health concerns. When medication is appropriate, we will discuss your options together so you can make informed decisions about your care. I also believe that mental wellness can be supported through healthy lifestyle practices and other evidence-based approaches that complement traditional psychiatric treatment. Whether you're struggling with symptoms for the first time or looking for a provider who will truly listen, I want you to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout your treatment. My approach is compassionate, individualized, and focused on helping you feel better and function at your best.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I want you to feel comfortable being exactly where you are when you walk through my virtual door. You don’t have to have the right words, know exactly what’s wrong, or have everything figured out before we begin. We’ll work through it together. I believe you deserve to feel genuinely heard—not rushed, judged, or reduced to a diagnosis. I take the time to understand your experiences, your challenges, and the person behind your symptoms. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized because no two people are exactly alike. I also believe that treatment should be something we decide on together. If medication is appropriate, I’ll take the time to explain your options, answer your questions, and make sure you understand the “why” behind your treatment plan. I also value the role that therapy, lifestyle, relationships, and other healthy practices can play in supporting your mental well-being. Above all, I want our visits to be a space where you feel safe, respected, and never judged. My hope is that you leave each appointment feeling a little more understood, a little more hopeful, and with a clearer path forward.
