About Dr. Kindra Ingram
Dr. Kindra J. Ingram, Chiropractor, is a Silver Spring native, whose passion has always been to provide help for individuals in need. It was not until her final year at Spelman College, in Atlanta Georgia, that she developed a specific interest in healthcare forms that used a natural approach to healing.
After attending a seminar on Chiropractic health care she felt that she could make a difference in this field as well as help people heal from sickness and injury by using this natural approach. This is when she decided to choose a career as a Chiropractor.
Once she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Spelman College, she was off to Chiropractic school. Dr. Ingram attended and completed her degree, Doctor of Chiropractic at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Once she obtained her degree and passed all of her National and State Licensing Boards, she decided to open her own practice in Downtown Silver Spring, servicing the same area where she is originally from.
In addition to her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Ingram also has a Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan College of Chiropractic and University programs. This degree allows her to work closely with athletic institutions of all kinds with on-field care/treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
In addition, it also allows her to implement injury prevention and maintenance programs in sports programs. Dr. Ingram currently holds licenses in Washington, DC, and in Maryland, serving patients from the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC areas.
Her focus is to treat and give the best possible care to all of her patients. She treats patients of all age ranges, as well as athletes and dancers. The Chiropractic techniques currently practiced are Diversified, Thompson Technique, and Activator.

I experienced no wait times, and the visit ran on time, which I appreciated. However, the care felt narrowly focused on performing the adjustment, with little explanation of what was being done or why. When I asked questions or shared concerns, the responses often felt more guarded than collaborative. The overall tone and environment felt controlled and structured, but not especially warm. While this approach may suit others, it did not align with the kind of communication and presence I look for in care. That said, she appears technically sound and has state-of-the-art equipment that may enhance the therapeutic experience for those who feel aligned with her style.

This was my first experience visiting a chiropractor and I am forever changed. By the end of the first visit, my range of motion (neck) was greatly improved. I slept like a baby that night without my customary back pain. Not miracle work but I look forward to seeing future improvement.

Dr. Ingram has been wonderful. I started coming to Align Spine Health Center after having back pain for over 6 months. Dr. Ingram has been able to help me with my back pain and it has increased my posture. I would 100% recommend her services to anyone experiencing muscle, spine or joint pain and anyone looking to correct your posture.

She is always on time for appointments. I have never had to wait to be seen. I have severe arm pain and shoulder pain. I have been to multiple orthopedists and physical therapists with no results. After 4 visit I had improved range of motion by 80%, and it kept getting better. She is amazing!

Horrible experience. Visited Dr. Ingram to address lower back pain. She placed heated device on my back that was entirely too hot. I told her this but she communicated that it was fine and proceeded to leave the room. I was left unattended for quite some time. Due to the heat and discomfort of the device, I couldn't lay still. Thankfully I moved because it turns out that the device was burning my back, which resulted in scars that I still carry. I would avoid Dr. Ingram at all costs.
