This is to highly recommend Dr. Kira Manusis as a great doctor. Several years ago, she performed a very complicated surgery on my left eye; the results of the surgery were extremely good. Eight months ago, she performed cataract surgeries on both my eyes; because of the prior surgery on my left eye, this was not a routine cataract surgery with predictable outcomes. The outcomes of the surgery, however, exceeded the most optimistic expectations.

The office is insanely packed and flustered staff are unapologetic. 3/5 times I have come for recurring issues I have waited 45+ minutes to be seen. Anyone attempting to come for an on time visit during working hours will be disappointed. The delays are all the more irritating given that Dr. Manusis comes off as uncaring and rushed.

I have been going to Dr. Manusis fro two years now, and had my first cataract surgery, which she had been monitoring for 18 months, last Thursday, which went perfectly and painlessly. I have complete faith in Dr Manusis, she is extremely thorough, caring and respectful. Her staff is friendly and efficient and they clearly look up to this doctor which is an excellent sign. Yes, it's a busy office, but that's because these are excellent doctors.

Front desk was very helpful and polite, no wait at all. Dr. Manusis was unpleasant, and clearly in a hurry since my appointment was towards the end of the day. Apparently, it was more important to sit and gossip with the staff than to do her job. I don't expect anyone to hold my hand, but she didn't let me fully relay my concerns regarding my condition, and didn't do much explaining herself when I had questions.

Very helpful stuff, both the doctor and her medical assistant, caring, attentive and professional. The office is clean, well equipped with modern technology, all required tests are done on the spot. Waiting time is acceptable, there is enough room in the reception to feel comfortable while waiting. The lack of internet access was the only disappointment.

She was quick, it seems that she knows well what she is doing, for a new patient I was expecting more questions, but she went right to the point quickly and prescribed the medicine that it really helped me (no like the other doctor I saw before and gave me a medicine that was making things worse).

While she's a part of the very busy Eye and Ear Infirmary on 14th Street, I received excellent explanations, personalized care and I will be a patient there for life.

The 5 minutes I spent with Kira were great and she explained things and was to the point. But the 1.5h wait before was far from pleasant. Do not go to the Eye Infirmary (14th street) unless you have to -- the place is a zoo!

Had a long wait and then another wait once in the exam room, however the Dr. along with her tech were very friendly and answered all of my questions. The front desk staff weren't as friendly and took forever to acknowledge me. Paperwork is consuming but a simple, "Hi, we'll be right with you", would've been nice.

I like the doctor and her staff quite a bit, however I waited in the office for nearly 2 hours before being seen, and then had to repeatedly wait in the waiting room between tests. Overall I was there from 1pm to 5pm, it was ridiculous and I missed a lot of work.

Terrible bedside manner. No advice given and no treatment to help my discomfort while i was in the office. Given a prescription and was walked away from without asking if I had any questions or concerns. I barely had a chance to say anything for that manner. Spent about 3 minutes with me and went to next room for another patient. Never again

I was checked by the doctor assistant right away, there were no wait time at all, but then i had to wait for a doctor for an half an hour however this is not bad at all comparing to other offices i have been in the past. Doctor is very nice and explains conditions clearly and make sure patient is fully understanding. Very satisfied and strongly recommend
