“I been going to David Soltanpour M,D for over 10 years. He did surgery on my eye. He make sure I come on check on my eye every six month and that show me he care. So I will recommend my family and friends to him anytime.
P. S while he check my eye he tell you how your eye doing whether I need glasses or not.”

About Dr. David Soltanpour
Dr. Soltanpour earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 1992. He completed an internship in Ophthalmology and a residency in Anesthesiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by a residency in Ophthalmology at New York Medical College. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Soltanpour brings extensive expertise to his practice.
Serving the residents of Queens and Brooklyn, Dr. David Soltanpour is also well known for his active involvement throughout New York City. Passionate about the greater community, patients often see him participating in community service events and local gatherings. This involvement allows Dr. Soltanpour to give back to the city that has provided him and his practice with so many opportunities to serve through ophthalmology.

If you're looking to be seen ASAP and you don't require the frills of a fancy office, Dr. Soltanpour is for you. I did wait quite a while in the waiting room despite showing up only 5 minutes prior to my appointment time, but I wasn't terribly upset because I had begged to be seen the same day I called. The office isn't dirty, but it certainly isn't fancy either. There isn't much of a selection of frames. The doctor was very kind to write me a contact lens prescription without requiring me to pay for an expensive fitting.

Excellent experience. I showed up as a 29 year old expecting most doctors to dismiss my issue. He spent a good 1.5 hours thoroughly examining my eyes until he caught something that he thought might be causing my issue. Extremely detail oriented and explained what he was doing every step of the way.

Dr. Soltanpour's review is mostly based off of his office capabilities and office staff...I have a prescription request that I have been trying to get from his team for the last three weeks. They still use fax...and said they can "try to email" but the woman's voice on the phone is overtly rude, and condescending.
The wait time was more than 30 min.
His office capabilities from a technological standpoint are very outdated. His bedside manner, satisfactory. But 100% will not be returning.
