About Dr. Konstantinos (Gus) Tsamoutalidis
Dr. Gus Tsamoutalidis is a licensed, board-certified Chiropractor in the state of California. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and a certified Applied Kinesiologist. He is a leading Newport Beach chiropractor sought after by youth, collegiate, and professional athletes, and patients of all ages and conditions.
Dr. Gus earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science/Kinesiology, along with a minor in Nutrition. His love for health and fitness led to his involvement in football, competitive bodybuilding, power-lifting and nutrition. While attending Penn State he was a team trainer for the NCAA Penn State football and volleyball teams.
Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Gus pursued his interest in natural health and chose a career in chiropractic. He was exposed to chiropractic as a teenager following a weight lifting injury and was amazed with the positive results. Chiropractic immediately made sense to Dr. Gus because unlike most health sciences, chiropractic addresses the underlying cause of a condition, rather than the suppression of symptoms.
Dr. Gus focuses on injury prevention, injury correction, improving sports performance, and overall family health & wellness. Dr. Gus educates patients on nutritional supplements, strength & conditioning, exercises/ stretching, and detox/cleansing. He uses a variety of adjusting techniques to correct spinal biomechanics, nervous system interference and improve performance. Techniques include diversified, gonstead, activator, and applied kinesiology.
Dr. Gus coaches multiple youth sports including Matt Leinart flag football, Newport Harbor youth baseball, and Boys & Girls Club basketball.

This was my first time in seeing a chiropractor and Dr. Gus came highly recommended by my nephew. I was delighted with the service I received today as it relieved some of the pain in my neck that I am experiencing. Since moving to the area I have struggled finding a chiropractor that doesn’t pressure me with their patient plans and treat me like they are running a chiropractor mill! Dr. Gus listened to what was bothering me, immediately addressed it, and had me feeling so much better than I felt when I walked in! My two sons (multi sport athletes - age 11 and 14) and I go to Dr Gus for preventative care adjustments and when we are dealing with any pain, injuries, or ailments such as asthma and migraines. Staff is responsive to appointment requests, the office is clean and inviting, and Dr Gus does an amazing job at addressing our needs and concerns. I was just in this week due to an ongoing migraine and within hours the pain and my vision was drastically improved.
