Konstantinos Margetis, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery in the Mount Sinai Health System.
Dr. Margetis is a uniquely qualified neurosurgeon with dual postgraduate fellowships in Complex Spine Surgery from The Cleveland Clinic and in Pediatric Neurosurgery from Weill Cornell Medical College. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and he holds a Masters Certificate in Health Care Leadership from Cornell University. Dr. Margetis has published in a variety of scholarly journals including the Journal of Neurosurgery, World Neurosurgery, Neuromodulation, and the Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology.
In order to properly evaluate your medical condition, all NEW PATIENTS MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS TO THEIR FIRST APPOINTMENT:
• a copy of your most recent MRI on a CD. X-Rays are not sufficient.
• Prior medical records and consultations from other physicians who have evaluated your medical problem.
• A complete list of the names and dosage of all the medications that you are currently taking for your current condition.
