“Dr. Iannicello was awesome! They had a really packed afternoon, so I had a really long wait but he was so apologetic, which was really nice - most Dr.'s don't really care. He was super kind and extremely thorough, I really felt like he was listening to me and he took his time to explain things to me, even using visual aids and immediately knew the issue just from my explanation & his thorough exam. I have gone to some Dr.'s who are quick to prescribe an immediate MR and shots, etc but I appreciate the course he recommended, starting with some at-home PT, simple anti-inflammatories and if not better THEN we go to the bigger stuff. Highly recommend!”

Dr. Armando Iannicello is an experienced and highly regarded Pain Management Specialist. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He completed residencies in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at Unique Pain Medicine, with a special focus on treating spine and neck disorders, sciatica, herniated discs, and sports medicine.
Dr. Iannicello has joined Unique Pain Medicine and is dedicated to providing comprehensive, individualized care for all painful conditions. His initial treatment approach focuses on getting patients out of pain as soon as possible.
He has authored numerous articles, original research papers, and book chapters related to pain management, sports medicine, and cancer rehabilitation. Dr. Iannicello has presented multiple times at the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) and the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAP). He is an active member of the AAPMR and the Spine Intervention Society (SIS).
