I was not all too impressed with the assistant/tech that saw me before Dr. Banek. She provided me with inaccurate information about some issues I was experiencing which I later confirmed with Dr. Banek that I was indeed correct in my thinking. However, Dr. Banek is always great - I feel like I get all my questions answered and she knows what she's doing. I also think that the front receptionist who takes care of all the insurance/paperwork is phenomenal! She knows everything about my insurance and was able to quickly figure out what my best options were when ordering contacts and glasses. Definitely makes a huge difference when there is someone that can give me their expert advice!

Kristen has such good energy; she is friendly and very helpful— just as the office staff. Before running any tests that my insurance wouldn't cover, they made sure I was very clear on these.

Great visit! Extremely attentive and friendly staff. I was also very impressed by the eye examination itself, as it used a few more tests and more "high tech" aspects that I had never been exposed to before. I definitely felt taken care of after my appointment.

Kristen Banek definitely reminded me of what I like in a health professional. She (and her assistant) were kind, good humored and informative. They made sure I was comfortable with what was happening (I hadn't been to an eye doctor in over 10 years) and made friendly chitchat during the whole experience. There was no pressure to purchase glasses on the spot and I will definitely go back the next time my eyes need a checkup.

It was an overall pleasant experience. The doctor was very friendly and explained everything very well. My only complaint would be about the technician. I don't know if he was having a bad day or something else, but he was cold/rude. I had my eyes numbed without being told what was being out in my eyes; I had no idea what was going on.

Dr. Banek was wonderful! She explained everything she was doing and was extremely courteous and helpful.
Her assistant is a little terse and didn't tell me that he was going to dilate my eyes or put in anesthesia drops which made my eyes numb (and I got slightly worried), but Dr. Banek explained everything afterward and the checkup went great.
