About Kristen Maciel
Kristen Maciel, CPNP-PC, CLC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in primary
care. She is committed to helping children thrive from infancy through young adulthood and
follows the latest evidence-based guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics to deliver
high-quality care.
With additional certification as a lactation counselor, Kristen is passionate about supporting
families in their feeding goals. She also has a strong interest in behavioral health and works
closely with patients to support their emotional and developmental needs.
Her nursing background includes extensive experience in complex care and pediatric
cardiology, with previous roles at renowned institutions such as Nationwide Children's Hospital
in Ohio and Children’s Hospital Colorado. She brings a compassionate, family-centered
approach to every visit.
Originally from Ohio, Kristen earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Denison University, a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University (summa cum laude), and a Master of
Science in Nursing from Wright State University, specializing in Pediatric Primary Care.
Kristen moved to Colorado in 2021 and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and
daughter, exploring parks, hiking, visiting splash pads, and discovering new restaurants and
mountain towns.
