Kristen Sheldon grew up locally in Kingwood, Texas. After graduating from Kingwood High School, she attended Baylor University where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Nursing. She worked in the neonatal ICU for several years, before she moved to pediatric oncology research at MD Anderson. It was at MD Anderson where Kristen decided to pursue her Masters as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas Woman's University in the Medical Center. Kristen also completed her doctorate from Johns Hopkins University, where she focused on disease prevention and obesity management. In addition to family practice, she also loves to pour into students at Chamberlain University, where she is on faculty for their MSN Nurse Practitioner program. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husbad, daughter, and son. She loves to spend time with her family who live locally and volunteer for the community.
