“Dr. Bucher and her assistant were great. I am unfortunately a “high maintenance” patient due to vasovagal episodes that cause me to almost faint at random things. They were patient with this and did what needed to be done as my blood pressure dropped in the appointment. I really appreciated that and glad I chose this practice. Very clear communication on what was being done. ”

About Kristie Bucher
Kristie Bucher joined MDC in 2011. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama Birmingham and earned her Bachelor's in Physician Assistant Studies from Trevecca Nazarene University, graduating in 1994.
She was board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 1994 and recertified in 2000 and 2007. Kristie has held her Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Tennessee since 1994.
Prior to joining MDC, Kristie specialized in women's health, focusing on Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Urogynecology, and general Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Tennessee Association of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she holds membership in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
Kristie has actively participated in various professional activities, including serving as a voting member on the TennCare Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. She has also been an instructor at Trevecca Nazarene University and served as a preceptor and instructor to fourth-year medical students at Meharry Medical College, as well as Nurse Practitioner students at the University of Alabama Huntsville.

Dr. Kristie Bucher, PA-C, was amazing! She will stay with you and listen to your concerns. She also educated me about my acne, the type of medication she was going to prescribe me, how it would work, and the outcome she expected to happen with my acne. Also, her staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable during my visit.

Dr. Bucher and staff were very friendly and listened to everything I told them. Dermatology ended up being the wrong route and she was up front about that. Told me what she could do for me but that ultimately, I should go to a podiatrist for the proper care and referred me to one.

I've never been to a dermatologist before, and I would highly recommend Kristie she is a great listener and very informative. She listened to my concerns and wants and addressed them with care. I had a few moles removed that day and I will be going back for a follow up and possible more procedures. I look forward to going back over all it was a great doctors appointment.
