With a Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Frontier Nursing University, I combine the power of psychiatric medications with brief supportive therapy and lifestyle interventions to manage symptoms, enhance coping skills, and promote long-term mental wellness. It’s a journey toward a healthier, balanced, and fulfilling life.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Kristie Murdock is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in mental health services including medication management, life style interventions and brief therapy. She is the owner and founder of MindPath Solutions Inc. located in Wildwood, Florida.
Ms. Murdock earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Central Florida and her Masters of Science in Nursing in Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University. She has spent the last three years working in community mental health where she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience giving her a solid foundation to deal with complex mental health conditions. Ms. Murdock can diagnose and treat various mental health disorders including but not limited to mood and thought disorders, anxiety, and emotional and/or behavioral disturbances.
Kristie Murdock is a strong believer of individuals feeling heard, understood and respected. She listens to concerns and treats each person with care and compassion . Patients receive personalized care and feel at ease knowing that a comprehensive treatment plan is a journey toward long term mental health wellness.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Ms. Murdock performs a thorough and comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to gain knowledge of each patients unique needs and work towards building a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters trust.
A treatment plan may include medications, brief supportive talk therapy coping skills and life style interventions. Medications are prescribed as determined to be needed.
Patients leave feeling confident that the treatment approach is evidence based, and quality driven.

Miss Murdock Is a terrific listener? I love that she cares so much and actually listens to her patients needs. She is kind and patient and very Understanding. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Finally finding the P.A. What's the game changer from my life.

I have multiple diagnosis from Bipolar, GAD, ADHD, PTSD etc I have been w Kristy for 5 years and I will be the first to admit that I am NOT easy to work with. I never thought she would stick with me through my severe mood swings, medicine changes, strong opinions, rage and temperament. But, to my surprise she DID with patience, grace and understanding. It took a long time to get to where I am today and I feel more stable then I have in the last ten years! She worked at a facility w a high turnover rate and could have left long ago, but she genuinely cares for her patients and stayed longer than she should have for US! I will be forever grateful and recommend her to anyone seeking help for mental health. She will meet you where your at and work WITH YOU not dictate you! Kristy is very professional, experienced, and will go out of her way to make sure you are SAFE and comfortable and get to where you need to be. TY for ALL that you have done for me. You helped bring me back to life! ??

Ms. Murdock is an excellent psychiatric nurse practitioner whose knowledge and experience have helped me remain stable.
She is especially adept with medication management and her easy, friendly bedside manner makes her an excellent choice for psychiatric care.
As a recipient of psychiatric services for the past 30+ years, I have seen a lot of clinicians come and go; the good, bad and ugly. and she is by far the best professional I have EVER worked with. You are not treated like a number but as a person who has worth and dignity.
I am grateful that I have had the privilege to know her as my psychiatric provider for the past 4.5 years and hope to work with her for many years to come.

I have been to several providers over the years with visits feeling almost mechanical until now. K Murdock is excellent. She was thorough with my history, taking time to listen and showed compassion and empathy to my circumstances. Her personable attitude made opening up easy. K Murdock explained all options and included me when creating treatment plan. I am grateful that I have found such an awesome provider and highly recommend her to anyone needing mental health care.

Kristy patiently stuck with me for five years! I have several diagnoses from Bipolar, GAD, ADHD etc with severe mood swings and I'll admit she endured a lot of my worst temperament. I never thought she would stick around, and if she did I was sure she would quit on me or let me go but to my surprise she never did. We went through several medication management and debates. But, I will say that I am more stable than I have been in the last ten years! Kristy went above and beyond making sure I was okay. She met me where I was being gentle and patient with my strong viewpoints and stubbornness. God bless her!!! She worked at a facility that she should have left long ago, but I can honestly say she STAYED for her PATIENTS and genuinely cares for our best interest. I was not an easy patient to work with, and many times I was so apologetic for my outbursts and grateful for her emergency meetings. I recommend her to anyone struggling with their mental health.
