Under the direction of Kristopher Jerry, DPM, AACFAS, Podiatry Healthy Services is a leading podiatry practice for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Jerry is a Board Certified expert in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, and the medical management of foot ailments. He has received specialized fellowship training in the treatment of trauma, end-stage ankle arthritis, and lower extremity limb deformity. His practice ranges from complex surgical corrections to bunions, plantar fasciitis and wound care. Dr. Jerry’s patients include those with diabetes, sports-related injuries, workplace injuries, and walking or running disorders.
In an age when spending less than five minutes with a physician is the norm, Dr. Jerry is passionate about taking the time to understand a patient’s complete story so that he can design a bespoke, patient-centric treatment plan that works. No matter the severity of your foot or ankle condition, Dr. Jerry is a problem solver who will work tirelessly to find the right solution for you. Whether that be custom orthotics that alleviate your foot pain and get you back on your feet for marathon training or a total ankle arthroplasty that returns pain-free range of motion, Dr. Jerry will consult with you to select the right treatment for your individual needs and lifestyle.
When not reading the latest articles on podiatric advancements, Dr. Jerry is an avid tennis player and spectator, and the proud father of his two-year-old daughter. He enjoys all activities connected to the ocean, which is reflected in the design of his Port St. Lucie office location.
Education and Training
Dr. Jerry earned his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, located in Manhattan, New York. The New York College of Podiatric Medicine is the oldest – and one of the most prestigious – colleges of podiatric medicine in the U.S. Dr. Jerry went on to complete a three-year surgical residency program in Margate, Florida at Northwest Medical Center, where he served as co-chief resident. His training also includes fellowships at the Liako General Hospital, Department of Orthopedics through the University of Athens in Greece, and at the Bako Dermatopathology Laboratory in Alpharetta, Georgia. Dr. Jerry is a multi-state Podiatric Medical License holder, and holds medical licenses in Florida and Michigan. He is also an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Florida Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Jerry has authored numerous publications.
