Dr. Malkames completed a B.S. in Biology at St. Lawrence University in upstate New York before moving to Ohio where he earned his DPM degree from Kent State University. He went on to complete his postdoctoral training with a 3-year residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, an affiliate of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians. Dr. Malkames is Board Certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He has spent years in the DC area and enjoys being an active member of his community. He values communication as well as patient-centric approaches in his practice. In his free time Dr. Malkames enjoys getting outside for biking and is an avid fan of music.
