About Dr. Lata Shridharan

Dr. Lata has over 20 years of experience in outpatient care, ICU, Emergency Department, and as a Hospitalist. She served as the lead physician at Children's Hospital Outpatient Clinics for five years and worked at Children's Medical Center for two years as a Hospitalist. Prior to that, she was the Director of Pediplace, a non-profit children's clinic in Lewisville, and a Hospitalist at Stanford Medical System in California. Dr. Lata's interests include natural solutions to common childhood ailments?covering nutrition, parenting changes, home remedies, and supplements?with a focus on ADHD, autism, asthma, and allergy care. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, Tamil, Urdu, and Marathi. Dr. Lata earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Grant Government Medical College, Mumbai, and completed her Pediatrics residency at Texas Tech University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA).

Fast, efficient- no wait time. Dr. Lata is kind & thourough- I appreciate her wholistic approach with my now teens. They've been seeing her for years & love her! Office staff is always kind & helpful.
