Getting to know Latisha Acklin
Latisha is a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides care across the lifespan. Her treatment approach involves establishing collaborative relationships to develop individualized treatment interventions. She is committed to helping people meet their goals by creating a supportive environment that encourages open communication and patient empowerment.
Latisha started her career as a Registered Nurse with the intention of providing exceptional care and treating every patient with respect. The values she holds dear have not changed. She prides herself on providing culturally competent care in a safe environment.
Through clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Latisha has strengthened her ability to manage a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and binge-eating disorders.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Accepting New Clients. For patients using commercial insurance or cash pay, our front office admin will contact you to finalize the appointment including obtaining insurance, co-pays. All co-pays/payments are due at the time of the appointment. Please ensure your insurance, date of birth, email and phone numbers are accurately entered and verified.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
I have a firm understanding of medications, their safety considerations, effects on my patients. I always create a supportive environment that tends to my patients needs. My patients comfort and well being is my priority. At each visit, we will meet to discuss your symptoms, if you are transferring care, we would appreciate some information into past treatment (not necessary). We will determine a treatment plan at the end of each visit which will be communicate to you.
