She is proud to work with pediatricians, obstetricians, midwives, lactation consultants, breast surgeons, ENTs, oral surgeons, OMM physicians, and feeding, physical, and occupational therapists for optimal patient care. Dr. Macaluso is on the Board of Directors of NABBLM, the North American Board of Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine. NABBLM formed to help physicians practice this specialty by outlining a pathway to board certification. She is a member of the NABBLM Subject Matter Expert Committee, creating the curriculum, including the knowledge, skills, and abilities, for breastfeeding and lactation medicine specialists. She teaches and mentors in and outside of her office.
