About Lauren Schaaf

Lauren grew up in Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate degree at Christopher Newport University and graduated cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience. She went on to pursue an education in Physician Assistant Studies at Radford University Carilion because of the emphasis on wholistic patient centered care. Lauren found her passion for family medicine in continuity of care and building trust and long-lasting relationships with her patients. Lauren lives in Fairfax county with her partner and cat. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time with friends, reading, and gardening.

I was so unhappy. I made an appointment. I was sent all the prior authorization paperwork. The day of the virtual appointment, at the time of the appointment I received a text message to contact the office for information. When I spoke to them, I was told they do not accept my insurance and I will not be seen. I was not given an option for self pay, I was not told prior. I am abhorred by this office.
