He took the time to explain everything and answered my mother’s questions honestly. I am certain that if my mother should need pain management in the future that we would definitely go to Dr. Epstein. The doctor who was working with him, Dr. Esses was also very professional. He allowed my 89 year old mother to take her time during the exam. She has difficulty with balance and walking.
I was also very impressed with the professionalism of the reception staff.
It was a very positive experience overall, even though it was a doctor’s appointment!

Dr. Epstein did not listen to my concerns. There were no vitals taken. There was no exam. I was there for management of pain. He told me he could not treat the pain unless cause was fully diagnosed, although I am in the midst of diagnostics, which may take weeks. He said he could not offer any pain relief in the meantime.
He was rude, condescending and unsympathetic to a patient who is suffering.

They did a thorough examine. Explained their medical opinion and conclusion; and preferred to treat by procedure over medicine. Thereafter we scheduled a procedure to be perform to address my pain discomfort issue from a job related accident.

I really appreciated the time Dr. Slater Took in Gathering information and conducting a thorough interview. He also took the time to explain things and answer questions. Dr. Epstein was also very patient and also took his time in explaining my pain syndrome and treatments for it. I would highly recommend seeing both of these doctors.
