About Dr. Ben Gruen
Dr. Ben Gruen is a compassionate, dedicated chiropractor treating patients in Manhattan, New York, and the surrounding communities. His primary goal as a practitioner is to ensure that each of his patients receives the highest standard of chiropractic care. Dr. Gruen is a member of the American Chiropractic Association.
In order to pursue his doctoral chiropractic degree, Dr. Gruen attended the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. He has since received certification in techniques including active release and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.

Everything from the start to finish was perfect. The minute I got there when I met the the receptionist who guided me through the paperwork with a smile. Next, I was introduced to the nurse practitioner where I was a part of a thorough examination by a practitioner that listened had, clear communication and a demeanor that had me feeling comfortable and glad I came. The N P then brought me to the acupuncturist who is just as nice ,thorough& filled with knowledge that was specific to my needs and then I met the chiropractor who was an expert at his craft. He was able to explain every part of the process while keeping me an active participant at all times .?It was my first appointment, but I feel that my life is gonna be a lot better being all their hands due to a plan of action tailored specific two

This was quite possibly the most thorough doctors visit I have ever experienced. From the warmth of the entire staff, to the overall level of sincerity and communication, I truly felt CARED for. It was an absolute revelation to have multiple medical professionals in the room having a conversation WITH me instead of AT me. After a week of up at night pain for a backache, I went to CityMD and was told after a physical exam and X-ray that I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon (odd considering the radiology report I was given indicated muscular strain) and was sent on my way. Still in pain, I went made an appointment here for this evening. And wow! Night and day experience. Apparently they have a nurse practitioner, massage therapist, acupuncturist, and chiropractor on site so it’s literally a one stop shop. After reviewing my x-rays from earlier and giving me a physical exam, nurse Andrea George explained my options thoroughly, gave and an anti inflammatory shot and an prescription for a muscle relaxer. Chiropractor Ben Gruen was awesome. Explained everything he was doing and really took his time to work everything out. Now just waiting for it to all come together but already feeling much better! Highly recommended! Couldn’t be more thankful. Will be my first stop in the future.
